Robert L. Cummings, CEO & Founding Principal

Having founded American Benefits Group in 1986, Bob  has led the company’s growth as a best of breed national employee benefits administrator. A recognized expert in the fields of pre-tax employee benefits and Consumer Directed Healthcare, Bob serves on the board of the National Association of Professional Benefits Administrators (NAPBA), and is currently the organizations Executive Vice President.

Bob is a founding member of NFP Benefits Partners, one of the leading benefits consulting organizations in the US and a part of NFP, the 8th largest global insurance broker. As a result of Bob’s leadership, American Benefits serves as the national Platform Partner for Consumer Reimbursement Account administration and COBRA administration services for NFP and for Benefits Partners affiliated firms nationwide.

Clodagh Parker, COO, CCA, CCPA

Clodagh has worked for American Benefits Group since 2004. A native of Ireland, Clodagh started out working in investment banking, and worked for a short period of time at Nat West Finance in Melbourne, Australia. She received her BA degree from Mount Holyoke College. She is also President of the Northampton Cable Advisory Board (CAB).

Imari Silva, COBRA & Direct Marketing Manager

Imari joined American Benefits Group in 2014. She came to ABG with an extensive history of providing excelling client & customer service, most recently in the Financial Services department of a local bank. That experience and her commitment to constant improvement has helped her to continually support our COBRA Administration Services in various roles. With experience in each aspect of the department including onboarding of new clients, file processing, carrier interactions and more, she is a COBRA Certified Administrator and now serves as the Senior COBRA Administrator in the department.

Ian Michael - IT Director

American Benefits Group acquired Ian in 2009 to help streamline all of our information technology systems. He currently employs state-of-the-art software, allowing us to accommodate virtually any file specification. Ian has trained in both interactive design and software development, and is a technology resource. From building database systems, to helping improve your online experience, Ian is working with our team to bring you the best TPA experience possible.

Jennifer West - AVP of Operations

Jen joined American Benefits Group in May of 2011 as our Accounting and Billing Manager. With a degree in Business Management and over 18 years of experience in the Finance and Business Management field in the not-for-profit and for-profit industries, Jen was promoted to the position of Finance and Human Resources Manager within one year of her employment. She serves as our main point of contact for all of our clients for any of their billing needs as well as maintains our Human Resource Department. Her strong organizational skills and belief that there are always ways to improve, Jen has proven to be a valuable asset to the American Benefits Group team.    

Katie Noel, Flexible Compensation Services Manager

Katie joined ABG in 2015.
